Effective October 25, 2026. These terms apply to GovBot Tides, Elevation & Watersheds at tides.govbot.ai, operated by Ideation Lab, Corp.

Permitted use

Use this read-only service for public-record research. No sign-in or purchase is required. Respect rate limits and the published terms of the agency services. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service or submit confidential information.

Source qualifications

Preserve the stated agency, service, datum, units, time zone, resolution and retrieval time when reusing results. Preliminary water levels have not completed NOAA quality control and can change. Tide predictions are astronomical and exclude weather and river effects. Datums apply at the station location. Elevations are terrain-model values with the stated source resolution and acquisition date, not surveyed elevations. A missing value, an empty date range or an unavailable source is not evidence about conditions at a place.

Limits of the service

The service provides no warning, forecast, survey, elevation certificate or determination about any property, and it is not a basis for safety decisions; for current hazards, refer to the National Weather Service and local officials. It does not provide legal or engineering advice. Records are provided as available without a guarantee of completeness, timeliness or fitness for a particular decision. GovBot is not affiliated with or endorsed by NOAA, the U.S. Geological Survey or any government agency. Nothing here limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
